Looking for pampering, serenity and relaxation? We have the perfect package for you! Unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings at Hostellerie la Briqueterie near Epernay.

Day One

• Drive from the UK to Vinay, taking the ferry from Dover to Calais.
• Upon arrival, check into your Classic or Deluxe room at la Briqueterie.
• The remainder of the day and evening will be free for you to do as you please. You may wish to explore the hotel's three hectares of beautiful landscaped gardens, or enjoy afternoon tea in the Winter Garden Terrace.
• In your travel pack will be a comprehensive list of Grape Escapes recommended restaurants. We would be delighted to reserve you a table for dinner at any of these

Day Two

• After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, enjoy an hour-long spa treatment in one of the peaceful cabins. Your face or body will be truly pampered by French beauty expert's Decléor products.
• You may wish to have lunch in Epernay, where there are a wide range of restaurants to choose from. We would be happy to make recommendations and reserve you a table.
• If you would prefer to have private transfers to and from Epernay on this day, there would be a supplement of £18 per person.
• In the afternoon, you will visit the largest and grandest Champagne house, Moët and Chandon, where you will have a private tour. You will be visiting some of the oldest areas of the cellars which are seldom visited by the public. A tasting of Dom Perignon will conclude the visit in a private reception room at the Moët mansion.
• After heading back to the hotel, you may wish to have your aperitif in the cosy lounge bar before heading to the restaurant to enjoy a gastronomical four course dinner with accompanying Champagne and wines, prepared la Briqueterie's gourmet chef.

Day Three

• After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive back to the UK, taking the ferry from Calais to Dover.

Accommodation

In the heart of the Champagne vineyards, la Briqueterie is a charming, exclusive boutique hotel, part of the Relais and Châteaux collection, and a true sanctuary of relaxation. Built on the site of a former bricks factory, the hotel was enlarged and entirely renovated in 2004 following new ownership. The hotel is located just 4km from Epernay, home of some of the most prestigious Champagne producers such as Moët and Chandon and Perrier-Jouët.

Open in 2006, the "Bulles de Detente" spa is a haven of relaxation and serenity. Comprising of a Turkish bath that releases purifying eucalyptus oils, a sauna, a swimming pool tha t overlooks the garden and a large Jacuzzi, the spa offers unique treatments from specialists Decléor in its intimate and tranquil cabins.

Gourmet chef Gilles Goess invites you to enjoy a sumptuous fine dining experience in his Michelin-starred restaurant. The traditional-styled dining room is a warm, welcoming place in which you will enjoy top quality cuisine and superb wines. Particularly attractive features of the restaurant include an open-fire, wild cherry woodwork and the radiant yellow and red decoration. Combining traditional recipes with herbs from the garden and regional Champagne products, the cuisine is a gourmet celebration of the senses.

The hotel consists of 40 different rooms. Each has been designed and decorated individually, meaning that no matter how many times you return to the hotel, it was always feel like a new experience.

Grape Escapes offer two room grades:

Classic- These rooms can only be described as luxurious, cosy nests and would be ideal for a couple on a romantic break. Each room has a separate entrance hall, spacious wardrobes, air-conditioning and a flat screen TV with international channels. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean, and equipped with a volcanic stone basin, towel heater, hairdryer, bath and shower cabin.

Deluxe- You will find bathrobes, slippers and fresh flowers once you check into your Deluxe room. These large, airy rooms provide you with increased comfort and space.

Junior suites are available upon request.

Make sure that you take the time to fully appreciate this picturesque residence by exploring the beautiful rose garden, nestled in the 3 hectares of landscaped grounds.

Price and Availability

This 2 night package is available all year round, mid-week and weekends. The price includes return Dover to Calais ferry crossings, 2 nights bed and breakfast in Deluxe or Classic rooms at la Briqueterie, the exclusive Dom Perignon tour at Moët and Chandon which consists of a tour and a flute of Champagne, a one hour face or body spa treatment and a four course gourmet lunch and dinner with Champagne and wines.

Based on 2 people sharing a twin or double room, the price for this package would be:

Classic room: £529 per person

Deluxe Room: £574 per person
