CHAMPAGNE - COTE DES BLANCS
Cote des Blancs
The Champagne region of France is split into 3 main areas, with The Cote des Blancs being the most southerly. There are a couple of Champagne regions further south, but these are much smaller regions (the Côte des Sézanne and the Aube). The grapes here are Chardonnay, and the Cote des Blancs region produces some of the finest Champagnes available. The grapes are planted mostly on east facing slopes.
